WEB DESIGN SERVICES
I specialise in web design for smaller organisations - local societies, charities etc, providing cost effective solutions for customers who would otherwise find the price of using professional web design services too much. That doesn't mean that what I do is of inferior quality, rather that the solutions that I offer are geared towards presenting your message clearly and attractively without the more fancy (and expensive) features that commercial sites use.
I will create a site for you that is "standards compliant", that will display correctly in the many types of browsers that are in use today, and that will take account of the fact that some viewers may not have perfect vision.
As with most of what I offer, the type of service is up to you, and you can have as much or as little involvement as you want. I outline two solutions below, but you can discuss things with me and tailor them to your own needs.
A Complete Web Design Solution: In this case I would design the site to your directions, organise all of the hosting and domain name issues and update and modify it as instructed by you. You need have no technical involvement at all.
Start Up Package: After discussion of your requirements I will suggest the best way for you to create, update and host your site. I will then tutor you whilst you get started and get a feel for doing it. Once you are up and running I am still available for advice by e-mail, phone or in person.
